Mooresville Auto Repair

I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received from H-1. I will try to keep this a brief as I can, but I think the whole story is important. As a preface, my wife and I just moved to Mooresville from Wisconsin back in April. My tire picked up a nail while I was running errands the other day and noticed it while driving south on Williamson. Luckily, I was able to get into a parking lot. I got the lugs off fine but the wheel would just not come off. After struggling in the 95° heat for a half an hour I remembered that I had seen H-1 the other day. So, drenched in sweat, I looked up the number and called them. Bob answered the phone and said he didn't have anyone that could drive to me at the moment to try and get the tire off, but he would call a tow truck for me to bring it to the shop. This was awesome because I have no clue who is a reputable tow company in town, and I wasn't looking forward to trying to find one. A little while later the truck shows up and tows my car to H-1. We find out that I have the Holy Grail of nails in my tire and it can't be patched. No biggie, I was expecting that, because the nail punctured through both the bottom and the side of the tire. However, it turns out that the tow truck bent one of my tie rods. So I'm thinking, "Great. This just got really expensive". I head back into the office and it turns out that Jon had called the tow company (I didn't even have to ask him to do this) and worked out a deal with them to pay for the tie rod parts and H-1 would install them at no additional cost to me! They would order the tire and fix the tie rod and I would be ready to go the next day! They called me the following day when it was all done and even gave me a ride to the shop to pay for the tire and sign paperwork. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The whole staff is absolutely professional and friendly. You guys really made what could have been a huge pain in the neck, into one of the easiest and hassle-free experiences I have ever had in an auto shop. My wife an I will absolutely be bringing our vehicles to you for anything we need in the future. Heck, with this level of service, it would almost be worth it to drive the 1000 miles back to H-1 if we ever happen to move back to Wisconsin! I hope I won't have to be back too soon, but if I do I know I will be in good hands. Keep up the great work and thank you again for all your help!

this place is awesome... The staff is nice, knowledgeable, and swift. They get to the source of the problem and they don't cheat you. The free WiFi and coffee is a nice touch. They have an area for the kids to play, TV, and comfortable chairs. This place Freaking rocks!!!!

My first visit here and loved the facilities at the front desk. The diagnosis for my car issue was clear and explained to me very well and the fix was good so far. Jesse at the front desk and the owner John took care of well and even got a courtney ride back home. They may not be the cheapest or the most expensive place but I felt comfortable with identifying and fixing the issue. I would not hesitate to go there.

I was seen immediately and Was kept informed of what Was going with my car and they were able to show me what was wrong. They were speedy in finding parts and getting the repair done with a very professional manner.

These guys are great! I found them using a Google search. I am always reluctant about car repairs but I read some of the reviews. I had a 1996 import that I thought needed a new brake switch which engages the back Stop lights. I called them and someone actually answered the call and told me to just bring the car in early and they would see what work needed to done and he said they would give me a quote. I didn't realize how close this business was to my home; only a few miles away. I got there and was pleasantly surprised to see a very nice waiting area with comfortable chairs, a flat screen TV, Wireless, and coffee and snacks. I was able to get some work done while waiting a short time to get my quote and the price was right in line with what I had expected (a little over $200). They then asked me if I wanted to wait or, they could drop me off at my house AND pick me up when ready. Not only did I get door to door taxi service, but when they brought me back to get my car, they told me that it was actually less than what they quoted. They said I did not need a new switch, just another small inexpensive part. The guys stand up to their name of Honest -1 and they were nice and pleasant to do business with. I have several cars and I will surely go back to let these guys service my vehicles.

You Have to be Kidding. Fast and honest car service places still exist. Pricing was great, service quick and NO UPSELLING!!! Will continue to use them for both cars now. Jesse Grillo service advisor was super! Just came back for a simple oil change and tire rotate. AGAIN, quick and fast at a VERY REASONABLE price!! My go to repair shop for sure!

I did not have an appointment for an oil change, but the staff at Honest-1 was able to work me in and got it done quickly. I was impressed with the level of service provided, the friendly courteous attitude of the staff and the nice touch of a floor mat. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Very friendly and overall great experience. Also, they back up their work with a warranty. Happy customer.
