Set up an appointment to have my Air Conditioning checked on my daughters 2011 VW Jetta. Brought the vehicle in at the specified time and they incrementally diagnosed the issue with the vehicle. It was determined that we would need to replace the compressor and would require us to bring it back after the parts were ordered and received. We scheduled the appointment for the following week. We were asked to pay for the parts up front, which we did. I brought the car in at the specified time only to. find out the parts were not there and I wasted my time driving to and from the shop. We rescheduled for a few days later. When i picked up the car the service manager brought up an issue that my battery (2 months old) wasn't registering and this was causing my alternator to not provide full capacity. They recommended I take the battery back to the Firestone dealer where it was installed or to VW. The AC was not cooling very well even with the new compressor. Honest-1 said that was due to the battery issue. The next 24 hours brought me two trips to Firestone, one to VW and two return trips to Honest-1. Firestone and VW showed me documentation that this model didn't have a battery registration process and most likely Honest-1 didn't do a thorough job on the compressor installation. Firestone also conferenced me with Interstate Battery service center to confirm the situation. After spending $1,200 on this repair it was very clear the expertise level of the Honest-1 techs wasn't on par with the VW or Firestone team members. Unfortunately it took me multiple trips between home, Mooresville and Concord to get the situation resolved. Honest 1 did make an attempt to look at the car again but I felt it wasn't of any value to me if they didn't get it write the first three times they had the car. An expensive lesson for me.

Read all the amazing reviews on this place and was happy to find a local shop. Dropped off my wife’s truck with specific requests for an alignment and new brakes. Staff was nice and cordial. Picked up the truck about 15 minutes before they closed to give them plenty of time to work on it. Upon picking up the truck, I was told the alignment was only off by a little bit so they didn’t perform it. I was also told that my brakes were fine and that they were glad to look at them again if I insisted. Brakes are literally grinding and alignment is way off. I would have had a much better impression with this place if someone would have been honest to admit that they just didn’t have time to get to it. An entire day coordinated around dropping off and picking up a vehicle, being out of a vehicle only to realize that it was all a waste of time.

Quick and courteous service, as always. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because only 1 desk person had a mask on. I was hoping that with always being such a courteous and caring business, that Honest1 would have public health 100% in mind and follow the governor’s mandate.
